Is there a way to fix the problem where the mouse randomly, and sometimes quite frequently, jumps to the top-right of the monitor, and I cannot access the touch part of the screen, as well as continue typing in the current location until the issue timesout, or after many right-clicks on the mouse to open the menu and selecting Refresh before the cursor stops jumping to the top-right. Sometimes this doesn't happen for days/weeks, and other times it happens many times in a day. My PC configuration is an ASUS F2A85-V Pro mainboard with 16GB of Kingston HyperX DDR memory running Windows 10 Pro version 2004 build 190413.508 with all the current (as of 13-Sept-2020) updates installed. This issue has been occurring for years, but didn't start until Windows 8.1. I have searched for a solution and posted on many forum sites through the years looking for a solution, but alas, here I am posting in this community forum in hopes of getting a solution.

I would deeply appreciate any ideas, thoughts, or solutions this community has to offer. :)

Is there any indication of warping in that corner? Something seems to be putting pressure on the digitizer which would cause the phantom click.

Thanks for the reply billsey. No, the "jumping" is definitely occurring due to a USB System driver flaking out and taking control of the mouse cursor and putting it in the top right corner. This didn't happen for a couple a couple of years while it was Windows 8.1, but after installing Windows 10 Pro it started randomly. It took me awhile with some diagnosing before I noticed the mainboard driver had changed from ASUS to Windows, so I put the original chipset drivers back and it stopped for some time. But now I cannot use the original chipset drivers from 2013 as Windows 10 Pro 2004 has too many updates.

I have found on other forums this exact same issue occurring with this Acer monitor, as well as some ASUS Laptops. The resolutions for those with this monitor were to disconnect the USB 3.1 touchscreen from the computer, but I use the touch feature constantly. To return this quite expensive touchscreen monitor back to a simple monitor is unacceptable. There has to be a solution to correct the mainboard USB driver from taking control over the mouse and jumping to the upper-right.
