Hi. This week I bought an ACER Nitro 5 AN515-43 (with an AMD processor and a dedicated NVidia graphic card) and everything is working allright except the left side USB slots (the 3.0 ones). They are working properly for 2.0 devices like flashdrives or mice, but if I insert an USB 3.0 flashdrive, it will not recognize it and it will not show up not even in Disk Manager. The right side USB slot is working fine and the 3.0 flashdrive works on it as a 2.0 flashdrive (which doesn't happen in any of the left slots). I already tried uninstall and reinstall the drivers and devices, I've downloaded every single drive for this model in ACER's website, I've tried format and reinstall Windows (and trying use USB 3.0 flashdrives in a fresh and clean Windows install), I have tried download drivers through Windows Update and I also tried downloading newer drivers with Driver Booster (which I know is not ideal, but I was running out of options) and I flashed the newest BIOS available for my model (1.10).

Does anyone has the same model with working USB 3.0 slots that could maybe backup the drivers and send me, so I can try one that is reportedly working? During this whole journey that took me over a day, these slots actually worked very shortly until I had to restart the laptop, than it wouldn't working again and right now it doesn't work not matter what I do. So since it works as 2.0 and it shortly worked as 3.0, I think it is hard to believe it is a hardware issue and not a firmware or driver problem.

Ok, nevermind. I am feeling dumb. Even though this flashdrive is working fine on other laptops, it seems it have some sort of weird compatibility with the driver on my Acer or something, but I got an older USB 3.0 external HDD that I rarely use and it is working fine, so it is not a huge deal and it is probably related to the flashdrive itself.
