Hoping to get some information on what panels would fit and be compatible with the A315-23-R596 laptop. The current panel is only HD and id like to upgrade to FHD at least.
The screen is identfied as N156BGA-EA3  - Innolux 15.6" TN LCM 1366×768 220nits WLED eDP 30pins CMN15E6

Thanks in advance for any info

Yes two are recommended shown below. Google either the mfr or ACER oem part numbers for vendors. Should be about $50-60usd and fit a number of different laptop oems. There may be others as long as they have 30 pin interfaces.  Jack E/NJ

Thanks so much for the quick reply, Just checked the info on the suggested panel and i was wondering discrepancy in the active area and more specifically the outline dimensions ( 223.8 H mm vs 216.1 H mm) would be an issue?

    Original Panel
    Active Area :344.232 (W) × 193.536 (H) mm (A.A)
    Outline Dimension :350.73 (W) × 223.8 (H) mm

    New Panel
    Active Area

    344.16(H)×193.59(V) mm

    Outline Dim.

    350.66(H)×216.15(V) ×3.2(D) mm

I doubt there's an issue. We're mostly dealing with fractions of a silly mm deltas. A whole mm is pretty small to begin with. And there's usually at least a few mms worth of slop in these case and bezel designs anyway.  Here are side-by-side tables comparing the FHD & WXGA screens. There's some typos but you can deduce the intended numbers. Jack E/NJ
