Do I need Intel Optane on my Predator Helios 300 (2019 Model)?

I'm pretty sure my laptop came with Intel Optane pre-installed, but while removing some stuff, I think I deleted that by accident thinking it was unimportant.

Here's my full specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-Bits
CPU: Intel Core i7-9750H 9th Gen
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
RAM: 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4
Drives: Adata 128GB M.2 SSD (OS) / WDC 1TB HDD (Storage)

So, do I need it with this setup?

Shiro90 no intel optane is useless and intel optane its not a software its hardware either a ssd drive that has optane incorporated into it or just an optane m.2 drive that plugs as secondary ssd drive to boost for ex the hdd only when the os only its on the hdd (i dont see any manufacturers doing this anymore apart form the useless older asus TUF) also i think youre talking about intel RST software and not optane and this one yes you should just remove it completely (before you create a raid array by mistake and your 1tb hdd goes missing as recovery drive only and you have to reformat everything to recover it) unless you want to create a raid 0 array between 2 m.2 drives (which i dont recommend) can only be done with 2 drives the exact same size/type and i see you have 16gb ram they are most probably in dual channel if thats the case youre fine but if its a single sodimm you should either get another to match it or get a ready dual channel set of 2x8gb i always recommend hyperx or vengeance and you should also upgrade your 128gb ssd to ate least 500gb for this i recommend wdblue sata its enough for gaming but if you do rendering/content creation u need nvme which its barely useless for games will only improve loading times nothing else either way good luck :)

By the way, before leaving this thread I'd just like to ask one more question. What about the Intel RST Software? Will I have any benefits in having that or can I remove it as well?

Shiro90 you should remove it as i stated above to avoid by mistake (as the software keeps asking for it) creating a raid array and your hdd will be gone and converted to recovery drive not accessible anymore :)
