    GAMING6698 I had the issue for a week and then I chose to undervolt, after undervolting the problem stayed but I saw thermals were much better so I have kept it. I have also tried uninstalling throttlestop, resetting it's settings and deleting the .ini to reset voltages and tried playing but the problem is still there.

    GAMING6698 Lowest ping is 3 in COD and highest is 20 in LoL and switching to my other network just makes things a lot slower as its not 5G.

    *UPDATE* - I have wiped my laptop to factory settings and after installing Fortnite and COD the stutters are still there. I have no idea what to do anymore.

    GAMING6698 GeForce experience was installed and I tested games with fresh installation drivers and latest geforce drivers. I have checked out event viewer and it seems that a process with constant errors is AppModel-Runtime event ID 65 occurs whenever Im playing videogames.
  • Does the same problem occur when you uninstall the driver, using the ddu program in safe boot?

    @egydiocoelho Yes, I tried about 10 different drivers all using DDU to switch each time and Ive also tried the old NVIDIA drivers in my Acer Support Drivers link for my laptop model. As an update now though the stutters have seemed to stop being so frequent and instead randomly a freeze to 0-1 fps will happen for a second until the game unfreezes and goes back up to the 140+ theyre running at.
  • Try configuring the laptop for high performance:
    a) let the battery charge up to 100%;
    b) put in high performance in the power options;
    c) place the minimum and maximum performance of the processor, both in the battery and in the electrical outlet, at 100% in the power options;
    d) disable batteryboost in the geforce experience;
    e) uninstall XBOX applications;
    f) place the intel and nvidia graphics cards for maximum performance, in the intel graphics command center and the nvidia control panel;
    g) unset fps limit and maxframerate on the nvidia control panel;
    h) activate the graphics settings in windows 10:

    I have no clue anymore guys. Its improved but every now and then in games I'll be at a stable 140+ then drop to <57 frames with it acting as a stutter/skip.
  • Did you activate HARDWARE ACCELERATED GPU SCHEDULING?

    TearingMyHairout Well if the temps are fine (85'ish on cpu and 70/75 on dgpu max) there should be no reason for throttling causing the fps do drop and even after a fresh install all software issues should be solved and that windows even error its really weird u can take a look here (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/all/appmodel-runtime-error-id-65/8b387d97-d376-4cbb-b9da-b2b8441cbf44?auth=1) but i doubt it would be of any help ms answers never helped me in anything at all :p anyway good luck as i said if the temps are fine i really cant see whats the issue apart from a probably hardware issue as all other software issues were ruled out after the fresh install

    Hi there... I read through this thread and I have one thing you can try ^^ It's not a good fix... More like a hack together fix... But it may work... ^^ About a year ago I had issues with my Standby List getting full... And when the list was full I would get random FPS spikes... The solution was to use this program... Try this and try to experiment a little with the settings in it... One tip I have is to make it clear the Standby List more than it needs to (that's what helped me)... For ex... Make it delete the list when memory is lower than 26GB (I have 32GB RAM)... or for 16GB RAM... Make it delete when RAM is lower than 10GB or something :) Just try around and see if it fixes your problem :) It has helped me twice ^^ As for why this happens... There's a bug in newer windows 10 that doesn't clear the Standby List properly... It's been going on for some versions now I believe (I think it started around 1903)... Again... Try this... It cannot make your issue worse ^^
