Firstly NO as socket BGA1023 CPU's are soldered onto the mainboard, also, what is the CPU model that is in your Aspire V5-571? As I don't think that the Aspire V5-571 came with a Quad Core CPU as the socket BGA1023 only has one CPU with Quad Core and that is the i7-2715QE CPU and that CPU didn’t come in the Aspire V5-571! The Aspire V5-571 came with either an i3-2365M or the i5-3317U which are all soldered onto the mainboard and you can’t change them. You can change your Aspire V5-571's mainboard to change its CPU from a spec Intel i3 to a spec i5, if you can get them? Or you want to go to that length?) as that is the only way you can upgrade the CPU on an Aspire V5-571.
You can upgrade the Aspire V5-571 RAM to a 2x 4GB for a total of 8GB, I would put and go as far as putting the PC3-14900 DDR3-1866MHz type RAM (as I’ve done that to a V3-571G at 2x 4GB that worked in "Dual Channel" and perfectly and was very fast) and also put a SATA 3 - 6Gb/s SSD which will improve its performance considerably.

Thanks for the info. I have the I3 model. Do you know if the I5 would be worth the hassle of disassembly? I actually am running 16GB ram and was getting ready to replace the HDD with a 1Tb SSD and I thought if I was going to open it up anyway maybe I might invest the time to replace the CPU.

StevenGen. Want to hear something funny. The original box the laptop came in stated it had the i3 CPU. When I looked at specs between the i3 and the i5 I realized I shouldn't have been able to get 16GB to work with an i3 so I actually looked at the system set up in Windows and I actually have an i5 in here so I guess once I relace the HDD I'm done.

Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019 support Device Health Attestation with TPM 2.0. Support for TPM 1.2 was added beginning with Windows version 1607 (RS1). TPM 2.0 requires UEFI firmware. A computer with legacy BIOS and TPM 2.0 won't work as expected.
