Hello,
i had recently moved my Xbox one s to my room recently during lockdown, and had my X34 for 2 years now. So basically, I've been playing my Xbox for a couple months now @1080p and had realised I can output @1440p but when I change the output resolution to 1440p my X34 doesn't receive any signal, using the HDMI cable that came with the Xbox one s. I am confused and have no idea what to do.

What frequency is the Xbox trying to do? 30Hz, 60Hz, 120Hz?

So it's likely a bit under that at full resolution of 1440p, since you have around double the data that needs to move. Is there any way to choose refresh rate on the Xbox?
