Hi guys
I need help please, I don't know what next to do. I have tried everything that I know and everything that I found online.
So, the problem:
Acer Aspire VN7-572G Nitro, 16GB RAM 256GB M.2 and 1TB HDD, Geforce GTX 860M.
When the laptop is cold, it wont boot. After I manually pres the start button it restarts normaly. And then when it is "warmed up" it starts normaly 100 times if needed. But if it sits an hour, the problem comes again - No bootable device.
What I tried and didn't work:
- updated BIOS - no changes
- reinstaled WIN10 - no changes
- tried UEFI and Legacy mode in BIOS - no changes
- changed instalation place, tried M.2 and normal SSD - no changes
- updated graphic driver - no changes

I read somewhere that the mainboard starts faster than the instalation disc and because of that the system doesn't recognise the disc beause it is not ready. OK, that may be, but how do I fix it?
If anyone has any ideas, I would be very thankfull.

  • When the no bootable device appears, are the ssd or hdd still recognized in the bios information tab? Or are they not detected? Does the same problem still occur when restarting the battery?
Is information such as date and time reset when the laptop is off for a long period of time? If so, try replacing the rtc battery. Also, does the same problem occur when disabling fast startup in power options and fastboot in bios?

    Hello
Friends of the laptop graphics card have a problem that does not bring the games to the screen image (the desktop screen remains but the sound indicates the game mouse), but when I switch the graphics card, the weaker graphics card runs the game. I have updated the graphics)
There is another problem: when the laptop works for a while, then when I restart it, the screen goes black, but all the hardware works. After a while, I turn it off and work again. If it restarts early, there is no problem, but Gradually, the screen turns black again with two restarts. (When the laptop warms up, it does not run when the Windows screen restarts)

No, the BIOS doesn't recognise the the M.2 where OS is installed. It recognises just the other HDD with data. I tried changing the HDD with SSD, installed the Win10 on the SSD but without chane. Cold start - SSD is not recognised, but M.2, where there is no Win10 IS recognised. Conclusion is that the disc where is Win10 instaled is with cold start NOT recognised. After manual restart, everything is OK.
Win10 is legal and activated, freshly downloaded from Microsoft page and installed with USB stick.
Reseting the battery doesn't help also. I also tried removing rtc battery, waited 10 minutes, put everything together, but nothing changed. The date and the time are OK, so it is not the problem with rtc.

Oh, just one more information... disabling fast startup doesn't help. I tried that already.
  • Have you tried to update the ssd firmware on another computer?

I think that the Problem is not about the SSD. I tried two M.2 discs and one SSD and the problem stays. So eather is the problem somewhere in BIOS or Mainboard. But how can I be sure and how can I fix it? I tried upgrading und downgrading the BIOS but no change.
