Hello ,
I have had my Acer Swift SF315-52 in for service , and they had to replace my HDd. However after I got it it back I am unable to turn on the keyboard backlight . If I press the keyboard backlight toggle (located at F8) nothing happens. Using the Fn key+keyboard backlight toggle does not help either. Does anyone have a solution to how to fix this problem ? Thanks

Try uninstalling and re-installing the keyboard drivers of the unit, follow the steps below:
    1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
    2. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
    3. Restart your PC.
    4. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

There are 2 keyboard drivers(HD Keyboard device and Standard Standard PS/2 keyboard . Should I uninstall both , and will Windows automatically reinstall drivers ?

Yes, remove both and Windows will reinstall when rebooted.

Thank you both for your answers .
Uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard deivers did not solve the backlight problem. I`ve been in contact with Acer and tried to solve the problem with other solutions , however unsucsessful. I guess the only option remaining is returning the laptop to Acer and let them fix the problem .
