Can't launch Sketchup, getting graphics card error

I have an F5 core i7; Geforce 940mx; 16mg RAM; 256GB SSD; 1TB M.2 SSD

When I try to load a sketchup file I get an error that says "Tests that exercise your Intel HD graphics 620 graphics card's capabilities have failed".  Sketchup won't launch.

I've tried updating drivers but it says all drivers are up to date.  Tried switching the application to the Nvidia card with no difference.  In the past when I loaded the file it took over 8 minutes.  If I use a different machine it loads in 3 seconds.

Is my graphics card fried?  Nothing else seems to be affected. I watch videos and movies no problem.

Open DeviceManager. Do you see ayd red or yellow warnings? If none, click on DisplayAdapters folders. Do you see two adapters? Jack E/NJ

I don't have any red or yellow warnings.  I have 3 folders:
    1- Intel HD graphics 620
    2- LAPDOCK
    3- NVIDIA GeForce 940MX

Can you temporarily disable lapdock and try it again? Jack E/NJ

    Wow!  It worked!

I've been using this plug in docking station for years.  Sketchup never had any issues launching or any other program.  Why would a docking station prevent a program from launching?

So I plugged the docking station back in and got the same error again.  That means if I want to run Sketchup I can't use the docking station or my full size monitors.

Try to use the external monitor directly on one of the ports, not the docking station. Jack E/NJ

Thanks for your help.  I bought a new docking station with 2 display ports.  Hopefully that will solve the problem.  My docking station is pretty old and needed to be upgraded.
