I have a question regarding my new Acer ConceptD 7 Intel Core i7-9750H Grafik Notebook 39,62 cm (15,6") 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce, UHD, Win 10 Pro laptop.

I would like to know a thing about the SSD configuration. As far as I know there are two SSD slots but I don't know if there is a one 1tb M.2 NVME installed and one slot still free, or are there already two 512 gb disk's in RAID 0 configuration installed.

I can find only C: disk available with total near 1 tb space and really don't want to open the laptop physically and check if it's not necessary. Acer care center is of no help because M.2 NVMEs are not supported.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Best regards,
Sax

You are correct in that there are two M.2 slots. They both support NVMe drives and if both are populated with the same size drive you can configure as RAID0 so the system will think you have only one bigger drive. There are a number of models that match your spec, but I believe all that come with 1TB of NVMe SSD have a single M.2 module in the first slot.

Thank you, billsey. So the other one is probably still empty? If there are two 512s the system cannot recognise them as separate drives either so the only way to be sure is to open the laptop, isn't it?

The BIOS should see them as separate disks, the info screen should look like this:
