I'm having to reinstall Nitrosense due to it no longer launching when I pressed the Nitrosense button on the keyboard. I've already installed the program via Revo and was browsing several of the threads looking for a solution after installing Nitrosense a second time and it not launching. I've also tried uninstalling and using lodctr/R in the CMD prompt multiple times only to be hit by error 5, the CMD stating, "unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 5."

Unfortunately, Nitrosense also sees heavy use on my computer as I play Destiny 2 and Risk of Rain 2 for long periods of time and Nitrosense is the only way I can get my fanspeed to be where it needs to be to keep the laptop cool(ish)

Ok, this is the LAST post I'm dropping here so if future people need help here it is.

*First install Revo Uninstaller and uninstall Nitro Sense.
*Second, go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads and download Visual C++ Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. Download the x64 version. RESTART YOU COMPUTER AFTER THIS.
*Third, go to https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers and either type your SNID or S/N in the field, or run the auto detect and copy/paste your SNID into the field. In the Drivers and Manuals section, scroll down until you find the Application section, hit the drop down arrow, and redownload Nitro Sense.
*Fourth, using WinRAR or 7zip unzip the Nitro Sense .zip file.
*Fifth, open the folder inside the file and use Setup.exe. When it is done hit Finish.
*FINALLY!!! Now hit your Nitro Sense button. Give it a couple minutes and it should launch.

Addendum: I looked through the program directory and found that Nitrosense itself LACKS an .exe file. One fix that I'm unable to try is to copy the predatorsense.exe into the Nitrosense directory as I don't own a Predator system and wouldn't know any model IDs needed to fetch the download necessary
