Why is a brand new acer 3 10th gen i7 loading slower than a 10 year old laptop?

this has got the be the worst laptop on the market i have sat here since 8 am this morning trying to load the ***** lappy up, i have a laptop over 10 years old that runs better quicker and loads up faster switches off quicker wtf

    and now it says i am not on the internet when i am on the internet typing????? it refuses to allowing windows download and keeps saying i am not connected bearing in mind i am on google while it says not connection , the hard drive is at a 100% WOW , I typed and exactually 2 minutes later it typed the words then refreshed then swithced off, then wouldnt load items wtf kind of **** is this supposed to be.... complete scam or a complete joke

    check them specs a 2009 laptop with 4 gigs is 100% faster and better than the piece of **** I have just purchased, its took 11 and half hours to do an update this morning, and was stuck at 94 for well over 4 hours so I control alt delete and it started again as though the hard drive was stuck....

    and if i try contact support this is the kind of s**t i get....a whole day working waisted on trying to figure this out....beware.

    and this just sums up the experience.  complete blanked...its like they know exacually what is going on but are hiding there heads in the sand.....1st thing tommorow this laptop is getting returned to the store people be very very carefull when puchasing these products ...1 no resove . 2 no way of contacting support.
    3. i promise you will waste a lot of your time in work or at home waiting for these laptops to even acknowledge you have even pressed the on button

    customers need to be aware of the implications of changing your work load to acer ....very bad idea i have spent a whole day trying to figure out why a brand new laptop is so bad......also neglecting my job ...very bad laptop....BEWARE

    For an assurance download by using other laptop knoppix linux and try to boot it from flash drive, investigate how your faulty laptop will behave.

    The possible problems with laptop: 
    • faulty hdd (read speed is way too slow)
    • cpu overheating (cpu should shutdown on overheat, sometimes reboot happens)

    hi polar, cheers for your reply am afraid I give up I am not prepared to buy a laptop to then spend every bit of time including my spare time trying to figure out a faulty product that has no place being sold...imagine buying a new car and then spending the next week in a garage trying to figure out why it is not running correctly and your job is driving. I am more annoyed at the fact I waisted a whole day trying to figure it out.....and if you google Acer there is a bad problem with hard drives spinning at 100%, and pictures not loading, laptop refuses to say I am on the internet, while I am actually on the internet... I done an update this morning at 7.30 am and 11 half hours later I was bemused looking at a laptop that was stuck at 94% for way over 2 hours unbelievable
