Hi I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 PH-315-52. I have tried connecting 2 different headsets to the laptop through the jack and selected headset in the popup on the screen.  I can hear through the headset but my microphone is not detected and also is not detected when looking for it in the sound section of the control panel. Please help.

Firstly, I presume that you are connecting your headsets through a cable setup and not BT? As this or these problem(s) should be firstly diagnosed with your headset(s) if their plugs and microphones work and are 100%? If both of your headsets plugs and mics work 100% then uninstall driver through > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controller > at “High Definition Audio Device” and reinstall the “Realtek” Audio Driver, Audio Console Driver and the “Waves” Audio Utility again as the software could be corrupted and need reinstalling and recalibrating. You can download the Predator PH315-52 drivers from here:  https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7983?b=1
