Hi I have the Nirto XF252QX 240hz but am not sure what cable I should use to get its full potential of 240hz refresh rate HDMI or DP?

hi I was wondering which display port to use for g sync for the acer nitro xf252qx. should i buy a display port 1.2 or 1.4 because it doesn't come with one.
Also it says that the monitor has a displayport 1.2 port, can a use a dp 1.4 cable or do i have to use a 1.2. thank you for your time0 -
You can use a 1.4 cable on a 1.2 port, so better safe than sorry just spring for the 1.4.
