I have an Acer Aspire e5 575g 794q laptop BIOS Insyde20 v1.47 5.0 I do not have any advance settings on my BIOS. The ADVANCED TAB is hidden. I spent over 20 hours looking for how to unlock these settings but failed. I tried all the options I knew (3xtab + fn) or (press A) but nothing. I updated the latest BIOS to my IRONMAN_SK motherboard list. I've been thinking of taking chances and trying some suspicious videos, I'm so desperate already. Believe me, if there was one forum about it, I read it, but I'm still out of results. I really need these advanced settings but I don't know any way to get to them. I know they are there but they are locked by the manufacturer. Please help me, i will cooperate as much as possible, if necessary I will send you pictures of everything you need. Thank u, need your help sa soon sa posible.

    Good evening Danko !

Not all Bios are possible to implement certain functions due to physical factors and direct access to controllers.
If yours does not, it is because it has not been implemented.
It is not allowed in the forum to share any type of access, modification or passwords in Bios.

Firstly Danko, this is not a recommended mod to do by Acer, this is an Acer Community forum that is here to assist fellow users of certain and simple problems and not to do any intricate mods to BIOS's that can ruin and brick their systems! The mod that you want is NOT FOR A NOVICE TO DO and by giving instruction and/or a list of what to do it would be irresponsible and wrong, as there is a definite chance that it will brick a laptop or a computer! There are certain mods that can be done e.g. to a V3-571 or similar from a legacy to an UEFI BIOs but that is a mod that is inside an Acer BIOS for that computer and is just an edit mod which will convert a Legacy to an UEFI BIOS (which there are Acer OEM BIOS's from e.g. v1.3 Legacy to be able to use the UEFI v2.21) that the Acer Aspire V3-571G has but, these BIOS's don't have the "BIOS Advanced Settings" features that you are after. Btw, I've done both to my Aspire V3-571G and to other laptops and they are very intricate and not for a novice, especially the "BIOS Advanced Settings".

The "BIOS Advanced Settings HIDDEN (InsydeH20 v1.47" or similar that you are after, need an intricate and complicated mod(s) of a BIOS and you will need experience, expertise and specialised tools to achieve these mod e.g. and like a flash programmer, such as a CH341A and a SOIC8 test clip cable (that you need experience in using) and to be able to unlock and edit BIOS's, which will enable to extract e.g. DriverSampleDXE-SetupUtility PE32 "BODY" Edit body etc, etc.

I would not recommend that anybody that is not experienced with BIOS mods attempt and/or do these mods and also, its illegal to post any BIOS mods on this forum and/or recommend any BIOS mods, you should proceed with this mod from a dedicated BIOS mod site like e.g. Win Raid Forum and search there and/or https://www.bios-mods.com/ or https://forums.mydigitallife.net/ and search there. That is why I would not post any BIOS mods here or suggest any BIOS mods to people that DO NOT have extensive experience with modding BIOS's as it WILL BRICK THEIR LAPTOPS OR COMPUTERS.

I relatively understood what you wanted to say to me, and I assumed and watched a lot of videos of which headaches I got while watching them. I know that there are complicated ways that I do not intend to go unless clearly explained by the expert.
I'm also still very frustrated with that.

I know you can't share information to unlock the BIOS, but also understand that your laptop has already expired a year ago, and it's not your responsibility if something breaks when adjusting the default bios settings.

I came across a couple of forums with the same question as Computer Hope, tom hardware, acer croatia and a few others.

All I know is that if my settings are locked on my laptop, I simply won't buy the acer anymore or I'll make sure the BIOS is unlocked.

    Thanks

I can't read all this ***** in a forum that is supposed to help people. I wasted time reading and trying all your insane instructions, and then I solved it myself. Simply set a supervisor password, save and reboot, enter the bios and magically all options are available. I'm sick of reading ***** written by incompetent people. goodbye

Couldn't agree more. Most of these online tech communities have become absolutely pointless because of people waffling on about things they don't know. The two people that posted initially are just useless. If you're not going to post something useful, don't post at all. Waffling on about "this is for advanced users, etc, etc". Doesn't help anyone.
