hi ,

I recentley bumped into a problem with my Switch Alpha 12 Trackpad.
its always pressed meaning the cursor is on press and drag all the time . I disabled it through the Functions option but I cant find any solution to this issue .
What should I do to repair this ? I allready updated bios to 1.04 and Keyboard to 0.99 but it didn't fix the problem .

thank you in advance,
Roy.

    Hi Royts2007,
If the trackpad is physically stuck on the laptop which is causing press and drag then its a hardware issue.
Please contact acer support center to check warranty repair options.

Disable fast start up. Google it if you don't know how. Shut the machine off normally. Then turn it back on again. Jack E/NJ

prying up underneath the bottom of my trackpad then reseating it worked for me!! saw it on another post on here and someone suggested it. the bottom only comes up, cannot move the top so dont pull up too much. the bottom 2 corners have rounded metal pieces that are extended past the trackpad. you'll need to press each corner with a good amount of force towards the top then make it go down. mine works perfectly now!!! my trackpad was clicking and dragging and couldn't scroll with 2 fingers
