I own a predator Helios 300 and surprisingly enough the realtek driver had vanished from my device. When I tried to install it through the legacy application option on the device manager I got the blue screen of death. How do I reinstall the driver without getting another blue screen of death.

Thread was edited to add the unit model number.

VishalVasantha get bluescreen viewer and check whats exactly creating the issue also you should use the drivers from acer support for your own model and check very carefully if the driver was not installed as a different device sometimes windows does that dont try to install it through the device manager install it with the official acer audio driver setup good luck

Well I did download the driver filed, but there isn't a setup.exe. Well according to the device manager there is no realtek audio driver, however some realtek service is running in the background. And the blue screen was caused due to a hardware issue according to reliably report.
