Acer still not taking responsibility for their defective Nitro hinges, so how do I fix it?

Same problem as I've read over and over again on these forums, the monitor case is coming apart at the hinge.
It's getting worse by the day, what do I do? The hinge works fine as long as I hold the case, it's the case coming apart at the hinge, the screen is fine. Help?

No need for Acer employees to reply, I've already read your BS responses and unwillingness to take responsibility for an obvious factory defect. It's not normal. I've had laptops that went through hell with me for the last 15 years, and have never had one fall apart like this. Ironically, it's the most expensive one I've ever bought and I've been extremely careful with it.

I'll even paste your gaslighting response so you don't have to.

"I'm sorry to hear that you're running into issues with hinge. I can certainly understand the frustration, but hinges have been failing on clam-shell notebooks for as long as they've been built, and that's not just related to Acer, a quick google search replacing Acer for another manufacture is sure to produce the same results.

Unfortunately, the hinge is the weak point in a folding process that also has to be a hollow enough to allow for wires to pass through and not krinkle them. They take all the stress created when opening the device, but it also has to be capable of moving to allow anyone (think children) to open it. I know we've continued to make improvements and modifications to the way hinges work, but if someone was to come up with a way to prevent hinges from failing the way they've done in the past, they would extremely wealthy."

Well if Acer is giving you such answer how do you think that we (the users) can fix a factory defect?

Replace what tho? Will replacing the hinges make the case stop falling apart?
These clowns really just quoted me $449 to fix it.

Hey, I've gone through the same as you with Acer support, never dealt with such an incompetent team. I've taken the bezel off and the metal rod that attaches to the hinge is snapped which is causing the monitor case to fall apart, ive bought the parts and am going to replace this weekend, I'll let you know the process once completed.
