Could I upgrade my Aspire One 722-0454 memory from 1g to 8g? What brand of memory should I use?

I have an old Aspire One 722-0454.  I want to upgrade the memory, and I have already tried with some 4GB memory and it seems that they are not compatible.

Is there a list of compatible memories?
What brand of memory does Acer / anyone with experience recommend?
What would be the maximum capacity it supports?

Thanks!

4GB DDR3 is max advertised for most BIOS. However, some have been known to accept 8GB. Mine accepts 4GB Kingston KVR1333D3S9/4G module. https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-ValueRam-PC3-10600-KVR1333D3S9-4G/dp/B002XN3OL4  The biggest bang for the buck however will result from replacing the 2.5" mechanical HDD with a 2.5" SSD Jack E/NJ

The Ram is linked to your processor type and speed, if you connect to www.crucial.com and download their scanner it will tell you what ram and HD you have and then tell you the RAM and SSD that are available to you as an upgrade. Very reasonable priced including delivery they also supply software to clone the drive.
