    • My Touchpad is not working..Acer Nitro AN515-54

    I am always use a separate mouse for my laptop.I started using the touchpad now and the touchpad stopped working all of sudden.I check whether is it disabled but it is not.I checked the device manager and found something strange. I have attached a screenshot of the screen.The I2C driver in the HID devices was in error state.So i tried downloading and installing new touchpad and serial IO drivers from acer driver support but it didnt help.What should i do now.Can someone pls help me.Its actually frustrating when i get this type of issue in a gaming laptop.

      I got the touchpad replaced , it fixed the issue

      Try downloading the software driver easy and then from there check the trackpad driver and download it from there.

      So I tried switching my OS to Linux(Debain Variant).The Touchpad is not working here too.
      What is the problem with the touchpad actually?
