Hi, a couple of years ago I broke my XB271HU but kept the parts. Today I reassembled it working with a replacement panel I bought. But over the years I must have threw away the screw that connects to two parts of the stand. Does anyone know what size screw it uses? I had a look online and in the manual but couldn't find any info. I tried to measure the hole and I think I got 15mm H and 4-6mm thread diameter, but I'm probably wrong. Also, since I cant remember what it looks like, is it just a normal screw? Would any screw that is the right size work?

Thanks

Got the same issue, though in my case the scew was lost during a move. Any info would be hugely appreciated, especially since I might not be able to mount in on a wall!

if someone who has the same monitor is willing, could you remove the screw and measure the height & diameter?

Yeah, the service guide lists the two parts that make up the stand, but not the screw between them. I believe that's because the screw is supposed to stay locked in the base. It's most likely metric and I'd take the two pieces to your local hardware store and find one that fits. Likely M6 or M8 and not more than 10-20mm long.

Is there any chance Acer might sell the screw as a spare? I'm told sometimes customer support across various brands to send small replacements like that screw.

bought a bunch of bolts today, M6 x 16mm worked. had to tighten with a wrench. (thought if you do it too tight the monitor cant rotate)
