Non-Serviceable Bluetooth on R11

Just picked up an Acer R11, and audio via Bluetooth is useless.

When connected to Google Home, the audio is at about 85% speed, other speakers it's choppy and out of sync. Playing audio via Bluetooth from a video? Forget about it. When no audio is playing you can hear a lot of interference coming from the speaker. This happens with media from streaming or SSD, WiFi on or off.

I've already gone through all the troubleshooting. What I need to know: is this a possible defect, in which I should go for a product exchange? Or does all of this sound about right and I should return it and stop wasting my time?
