Hi,
So I wanted to fresh install the OS since I was giving away the laptop. After navigating through windows 8 (64Bit), I selected full factory reset and just let it do its thing. After the re-boot, the laptop could not find an OS and as an experienced user i was shocked of how this could have happened. Anyhow, I have a bootable drive of Windows 10 64Bit which I try to run, and I get the windows logo screen with the loading sign under it. After a minute or three, I get, “Your Pc ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’ll restart for you”. Can anyone help me with this? Is the problem that I’m trying to install Windows 10 when it was windows 8? That shouldn't be a problem since I’ve never had any problems with other PC's or laptops. I did some web research and apparently, it's an issue with acer specific products?

I've tried switching from UEFI to Legacy and vice versa but nothing worked. (if I switch to UEFI, then I don't have a bootable drive)

Any input I’ll gladly take.
