The power cord got yanked, but initially no problem. Then the the power connection began to go off and on and off and on. It became necessary to manipulate the connector to make the connection. Over time it got more and more difficult. I replaced the connector inside the computer - same problem.  I then replaced the power cord - same problem.  Then replaced the battery - same problem.  It is driving me crazy. I can't see what is causing this issue. Nothing makes sense. Has anyone had a similar problem with the F 15 laptop?

The AC input power cord got yanked from the wall socket? Or the DC output power cord got yanked from the laptop? Jack E/NJ

It where the connector inserts into the computer. I have to manipulate female plug in order to get it to connect power. Over time it gets more difficult until it wont' connect power at all.  Replace the internal cable. Replaced the power adapter.  Nothing changed.  The computer shop said they can't figure it out either. The computer works perfectly on battery.

Did you mean the jack in the computer??? The jack should have a  center pin contact and a slider contact on the side of the hole. It should resemble the image below. The plug's outside metal ring contacts the slider. The plug's center hole contacts the pin. The center pin and slider should both be visible when looking inside the jack with a flashlight. If you don't see them, they've been either bent or broken off.  Jack E/NJ
