I have replaced my screen for as3810T but I just get a white screen upon powerup.

the replacement screen is identical to the one that I took out. The one I took out continues to work with the same backlight problem when it is replaced. Since the new screen is new and might have different chipset instructions that dont match my bios  or windows information that was from the original screen, do I have to do something with my video drivers? I have the latest drivers. I sent the screen back to vendor and they tested and it works fine for them.
