Why won't my Acer Nitro 5 laptop charge even though it says it's charging and plugged in?

Had it charged and shut down, didnt use it for 2 days, turned it on and dint plug it in right away, about an hour later i noticed the battery was still at 8%

So actually I figured it out. For some reason the battery does that. You just have to let it die and then plug it back in. Before you do that I would suggest installing the battery drivers. If what I suggested doesn't work it's an entirely different issue. You will probably have to replace the battery.
