The RAM isn't running at 1333MHz, don't worry. It is just running in dual channel, Windows Task Manager splits the frequency in half for dual channel, and in quarters for quad channel. This means you have 2x4GB RAM sticks running at 2666MHz each so there is no reason to be concerned. Unfortunately, some laptop BIOSes don't support XMP. Hope I solved your problem.

Sorry mate but this have nothing to do with channels! DDR means Double Data Rate hence the speed showed in CPU-Z memory tab have to be  x2 to get the real speed. You get two data-ticks per clock cycle.

Does it mean that advertising of 2666hz is for both sticks or each stick?

Okay ty but do you have any idea I’m getting performance issues or maybe have any tips cause my frames are pretty down the ground

@batmalin I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about dude.
I have 2 ram sticks installed advertised as DDR4 2400MHz. As you can see, 2 of 2 slots used. Speed is half the advertised one. Conclusion? Windows splits the frequency in some multiplier in task manager for some reason (based on the number or slots used, eg 1/2 = 2400 / 1, 2/2 = 2400 / 2). @TheRedFox47 there's no reason to worry as Windows Management Interface says so. Your RAM is running 100% healthy at 2666MHz. For more info read the following article: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/dlpntv/task_manager_showing_ram_at_half_the_speed/

Also DDR is used for memory type, and you confused what I tried to say. I think i pretty clearly pointed out at RAM Frequency, but not type. Dual Channel means how many sticks of RAM you have installed and running. Eg. Dual Channel = 2 Slots used, Quad Channel = 4 slots used and so on.

Wow, I don`t like to argue, but when you post an argument to my post, be so kind to read some basic stuff and then come back with facts.
