My Acer Aspire 5250-BZ873 is beeping continually.
All I could find online were various beeping scenarios that don't match what my laptop is doing, so I am hoping to find help in this forum.
The beeping is a continual series of beeps lasting maybe half to one second. It seems to occur occasionally. I have restarted and shut down, but the beeping this time continues. I have also tried system repair but it detected nothing.
I would like to find out what's wrong with the laptop, i.e. what the beeping signifies, and how to fix it step-by-step.
Thanks.

    Hi,
A short beep followed by three sequential long beepsmeans that you have a problem with your system memory. If you are hearing beep, pause, beep, pause, followed by two sequential beeps, the error is linked to your CPU.

Disonnect the charger, slide the battery release lock and remove the battery. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Connect only the charger and check the device.
If you still hear the beep sound, disconnect the charger, carefully remove the memory module and hard disk. Replace only (dont connect the hard disk) the memory module back into the DIMM slots and power on the laptop to check the issue.

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin
hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.

BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the u nit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS
page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart
1.Update BIOS and check the date and time
if still issue persist try removing the RAM and replace after 10 min

james dean Did any of these solutions help? We've got the same problem of random beeping while it is plugged into the charger.
