I got an Acer Nitro 5 running with a Ryzen 5 3550H, 16GB of RAM, and an RX 560X. My BIOS version is ACRSYS - 2, I was wondering should I update my BIOS or just should I leave it as it comes out of the box? And will it improve my system stability or anything if I update it? Thanks in advance!

Your bios version is not the "ACRSYS - 2" it should be e.g. like a version "1.09" that is dated 2020/05/18 and its titled "Update TP behavior and device manager information when hybrid shutdown" this bios is for the "Model: Nitro 5 AN515-43" (which should be your model, as you haven’t told us?) that comes with the AMD Ryzen 5 (3550H, 2.10 GHz, 4 MB) - 39.6 cm (15.6") LED - 16:9 Full HD - LCD - ComfyView - AMD Radeon™ RX 560X Up to 4 GB - 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM.

Just remember that "Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution" which is Acer's recommendation and it also depends on why you want to update the bios for? Bios upgrades are only done to fix whatever title the bios specifically fixes (see your bios titles upgrades) and for certain problems and to improve system performance that a bios fixes, simple.

Sorry for the misinformation, My Acer Nitro 5 model is AN515-43, the BIOS version is 1.05. Thanks for your help.

Not a problem but and if you want to update the bios to the latest version for your  “Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43” from the 1.05 to the latest 1.09, the safest way to update a bios is to make sure that you turn off all programs that are running in the background (see your Task Manager > Processes > Apps and turn all programs off) after that, turn off your anti-virus and malware programs and make sure that the bios application file and the power source is never ever disturbed and/or interrupted through the bios update process (never ever update bios on battery power only) update bios with the charger source pugged in and a 100% charged battery, then update bios with the “FH50P109” application file within win-10 and wait until “FH50P109” finishes and reboots automatically, it’s a simple process. Good luck.

ARCSYS-2? Can you make a screenshot? And no if it is working fine you don`t have to update.
Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.
