Hello all,

I just broke my machine. After partitioning and configuring all for Linux installation. Configurations made were 1) Disabling hibernate 2) Disabling fast startup 3) Chamged SATA mode to AHCI 4) Enabled F12 Startup. I didn't disable SECURE BOOT. Most importantly, the C:/ drive was partitioned.

Then proceeded to windows update.
I decided to update windows.
After succesful installation, windows rebooted. And it was fine.
I decided to go to acer website to check if there is bios update. There was a bios update v1.11. I then decided to update.

After updating, device rebooted and now I'm stuck at Blue screen. Can't boot into windows again.

I have tried resetting the bios by holding power button for like 15secs. Didn't fix it

Any solution

Device IS PREDATOR HELIOS 300 315-52 VL

I was able to fix it by going back to BIOS. Changing the SATA mode from RST PREMIUM to AHCI.

The BIOS update did the  auto change.

The problem now is that, I haven't even installed the LINUX.

Cant wrap my head around why the BIOS UPDATE INSTALLATION broke my machine
