It seems that I managed to solve the problem. I think that the problem was not in the bad RAM module but a faulty ram socket. I moved the RAM sticks from the sloths under the montherboard to the 2 slots under the back cover and the laptop started working without any problems. Also I have less fan noise and the overall temperature is lower!!!!! I don't know what the hell was that but it is already more than 2 hours without any crashes.

Also another question, somehow during the Windows and Linux installation process I managed to remove my RAID0 setup. Now when I try to create a Raid0 array using Intel Rapid Storage I get an error.
At the moment I have only the 2 factory SSDs installed, no HDD. The system is installed on one of the SSDs. When I try to create the Raid0 array I get an error.

Is it possible that I cannot create an array using the SSD which has the system on it?
    How can I fix this?
  • Did you disconnect the ssds? I ask you this, why this procedure may have broken the matrix. I suggest you try to uninstall the intel rapid storage program.

I had removed the SSDs and tried each one separately because I thought that the BSODs I was having may have occurred because of a faulty SSD.

No, I have Windows, I tried to create a RAID 0 using Intel RST but was getting an error

You have to change SATA operating mode in BIOS  back to RST  in order to create RAID.
    1. Open a Command Prompt  window as admin.
    2. Set the boot loader to go to safe boot:
      bcdedit /set {current} safeboot minimal
    3. Restart and get into the BIOS, switch the SATA operation mode, save changes and Windows goes into Safe Mode.
    4. Open the prompt again and remove the BCD value:
      bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot
    5. Reboot and that's it.

  • What I would try first, would be to uninstall intel rapid storage.
