Device Info
Model Number= Predator PH315-51
Part Number= *********************
CPU= Intel i5- 8300H CPU @ 2.30Ghz
GPU= GTX 1060
Operating system = Windows 10

My Predator PH315-51 completely stops charging while plugged in when I start to play games like Rainbow Six siege and Subnautica. After quitting both games, it can be seen at bottom right corner that it is on battery mode completely until I unplug and plug in the adaptor. I just purchased this laptop for less than a week. Any suggestion on how to fix? I am wondering whether it is the problem with the adaptor.

    Try the below steps and check

    1.power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
    2.BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the u nit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart
    3.Uninstall and reinstall the battery drivers

    Thanks for your fast input. Your method worked for a while and after additional testing the problem came back. I will be taking this laptop back to the shop. Will post the solution here for future users of the forum. :)
