I have tried everything I can think of to stop my NItro from forcing my games and online accounts to download onto my C: (149 gb) and go on my D: (1 TB) and nothing has worked nor is my laptop letting me transfer files from my old laptop of from C: to D:. I am completely confused. I am also trying to find where I can set my memory use and cannot find it anywhere.

What service are you using to download the games? Like steam, epic etc? Unless you are downloading from windows store, the pc setting for default installation is overridden by whatever location setting the particular platform uses. Then you have to specify your drive it in that platform's settings.
Also, what do you mean by it not letting file transfer? Ordinary copy-pasting? If that is the case then try opening Device Manager and see if your hard drive shows up as "unknown" or "not initialised". Then right click and initialise it.

I am using just regular downloading from the site, GOG, Battle.net, and Origin. Yes my drives are known and initialized. I have tried copying/pasting, file history, and regular backup and restore. Nothing happens or it wants to backu from the laptop I am trying to restore to. What is the point of restoring what does not need to be restored?
