My Acer Nitro 5 is getting hanged without any reason while I am working....whether on battery or on power
It just stop responding. I have to close the Screen Lid for 5 minutes and then when I open it the machine start responding as if nothing has happened.

How to fix this?

    Hi @AbhishekJohri,

    >> Try to perform a simple power reset and check the issue.  Shutdown the laptop. Disconnect the charger. Disconnect the external display. Please check for a battery reset PIN hole at the bottom of the device.The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Reconnect the charger and power On the laptop.

    >>Press Win + R to open Run dialog > Type: msconfig and click OK;

    Check Hide all Microsoft services under Services tab > Uncheck all other remaining services > OK to save all changes;

    Restart Windows > Enable any services individually and reboot PC > Repeat the process till Windows high CPU usage issue gets fixed by then.

    Accept if its Helpful.   B)

    Enabling services individually would take a lot of time, wouldn't it? (Considering that it'd reboot a lot of times, too!)

    Do you have any apps running in the background? What is your CPU, GPU and hard disk usage while working? Does your cursor still move around or does it just freeze?

    Hi @christy1,

    I'm facing the same issue since a month. It keeps hanging for like 20 seconds (the cursor feels very unresponsive that it barely moves) in between my work. I don't even do any major task on my laptop apart from using it for Jupter Notebook, VS Code and Google Chrome.

    I want to try the tip you've given, but I didn't find anything such as a 'battery reset PIN hole' on my device (Acer Nitro 5 AMD Ryzen 5).

    Please let me know if there is anything other than this that I can try on.
