As is evident on this Forum, you are but one of many users who have reverted to a previous Operating System after using Windows 8.  Most have calmed down before they post and are reasonably rational.

Personally, I don't see what the fuss is all about. I've used Windows 8 for over three months now. Yes, it is different but so is the weather every day too. I consider Windows 8 a good learning experience and am quite happy keeping the mind active figuring out the nuances.

For exsample: There is no working driver for bluetooth (Atheros) that supports Windows 8 on 5750G And Acer is not interested to solve the problem !!!   Iven when you uses the Acer upgrade Windows 7->windows 8. Non of the preset keys are working ??  I used windows 8 upgrade, not a clean install.

There is a bluetooth driver available for the 64 bit version. But not for 32 bit. I suppose that you had the 32 bit upgrade version of Windows 8.

This is an ACER created  (or not solved yet) problem, not MS Windows 8.

Acer have Bluetooth drivers available for Win7 32 and 64bit as well as Win8 32 and 64bit.

A couple of  hours ago I checked at acer.com for the 5750G.  There was no bluetooth driver for Windows 8 32 bit. Where did you find it?

Sorry. Didn't spot your ref to UK site due to the light green text. You are correct. The UK site has both the Win 8 32 and 64 bit drivers. The US site does not, hence my sympathy for Eivin.  Lesson learned: check as many Acer sites as practical. It appears as if Acer's port and starboard hands don't know what the other is doing.Smiley Happy

No problem. I wouldn't have expected their sites to be inconsistent.
    I’ve learnt something too!
Perhaps Acer could synchronise and make things a little easier for all of us.
