Can someone help me source the Left Fan (LED) for an Acer Predator Triton PT715-51?

Hi,

I broke the LED underneath the left fan of my Predator PT715-51 tonight while I was clearing a jam on the right fan. I physically snapped the ribbon cable underneath the left fan, and I believe that is the LED. I doubt the LED by itself is for sale, but does anyone know if the left fan assembly comes with the LED? And if so, how could I go about sourcing it?

Thank you!

Is that the LED board that sits up next to the keyboard? Or is it on the motherboard under the fan and heat tube?

Yeah, unfortunately Acer doesn't sell motherboard components on their own, so they'd want you to buy a new MB. If you have access to a technician with decent surface mount skills they might be able to replace it for you. Your risk with that is if their skills aren't quite as good as they think you might lose functionality when they break something else...
