Hello, my web cam hasn't been working for a long time because I think my camera drivers aren't up to date with my Aspire-V3-572P ever since I've updated to Windows 10.  I'm trying to download the appropriate driver from Acer's website but none of the available drivers had to do with Cameras... What am I supposed to do? Do they just not have camera drivers that they're supposed to have? PLEASE HELP :(

First check for any red or yellow warnings in DeviceManager. If none, the camera driver is usually part of chipset driver now. Try each one of the Win10 drivers first to see what happens. Jack E/NJ

When I hit "Download", a file was downloaded. When I opened the file, it had so many things in it; I just clicked around and I finally got to "run" what was called the "Setup Chipset.exe". I let it install---now what do I do? is it supposed to show up in my Device Manager? Or do I need to somehow add it there myself?

Click on the Windows start icon. Click settings. Click privacy. Click camera. What do you see? Turn on to allow apps to use camera/ Jack E/NJ

I checked and it says the camera access for this device is on.. so I’m pretty sure it’s not the app’s problem, it’s the camera hardware itself. I download the chipset driver but I don’t know what to do with it.

I’m using the originals one that comes with the laptop itself.

What is the name of the camera application or program that you have? The camera driver should installed now. Now you need to have the camera application or program installed to actually use it. If you don't have a camera app installed, I can send you a link to a free app that you can download and test your camera with.  Jack E/NJ

My camera on my A515-55 is only showing a black screen.  I cannot find a new driver for my computer for Windows 11 operating system.  Is there somewhere I can look?

Download the chipset driver for whichever generation intel cpu that you have. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7972?b=1
