So my friend just got an Acer Aspire 5 A515-54 off of Amazon. She plugged it in and booted it up as one does when one gets a brand new computer. Something must have happened during the boot up though because it got stuck on the just a moment screen from like almost 10 AM to like almost 2 PM. She has already reset it about 6 or 7 times now with the same results where it just boots up to the login screen with defaultuser0 displayed and both of ready to smash it to bits and toss it out the window. Her only option is to send it back for a refund and no replacement. Any help at this point is much appreciated.

It's a bug in your copy of Windows. This is an account Windows uses to setup Windows and it is supposed to be deleted by Windows. It's baked into your recovery, as you've seen and will also show up if you run SFC.  I would suggest she return it to Amazon for Refund or another one.

Yeah it's in the reset mode right now and letting it bootup all night was current solution so if that doesn't work probably just gonna return it for the refund and try BestBuy since Amazon won't replace it.

    *Edit*
yeah she turned it off completely she's gonna return it and try a different computer retailer. Sadly this is not the first time she received a bugged laptop. Her first one stopped working after one use and her second one was so full of malware she couldn't even use any of the apps (and no she didn't install anything it came that way); both of them were HP and both were from Walmart.

Don't give up on Acer, this is Microsoft's fault. The 2 HP's make me wonder if both laptops were display models at one time.

She's not giving up on Acer and you're probably right about the HPs. I myself have an Acer that is 7 years old now and I only had one main problem with the boot up file disappearing but other than that I have had no issues.
