I've been looking around to add an SSD to my laptop and know there is a slot on my motherboard but am unsure what is compatible with it. It showed "Sata/M.2" so i assume that means its an M.2 slot and runs Sata does this mean i cant use NVMe SSD's? what exactly is compatible with my laptop. I wanted to get the "Intel SSDPEKNW010T8X1 Solid-State Drive 600p Series" which says its "M.2 2280 - PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe)" so now im thinking because its NVMe its not compatible with my laptop? as its not sata. Also there is Sata III and so on and dont know how that affects compatibility etc. Any suggestions on an SSD to buy would also be appreciated.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
