Hi,
I updated the BIOS of my Acer Aspire M5610 from R01-A3 version to R01-B0 but I did not see that this BIOS was only for Dual-Core. The PC is a Quad-Core, it now freezes under Windows 10.
I have prepared a USB key to boot under DOS but I need to get the R01-A3 version of the BIOS and the DOS flash utility.
Thank you in advance for your help

Bonjour,

    Suggestions:
    1) Back up everything.
    2) Make certain that these are your specifications.
    3) R01-A3 download.
    4) Bootable DOS USB.

Thank you for your reply. In the meantime I managed to solve my problem.
I found the BIOS file at this address:
    ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/Archiv/desktop/aspire_m5610/bios/
I downloaded the file "R01-A3 WinXP VISTA DOS.zip" and once started under DOS via the USB key I followed this procedure :

    (1)Execute DFB.bat in Dos
    (2)After finish BIOS,Button “F1” to reboot system
(3)When system is on post screen, button “del” to go to BIOS Menu for loading default
(4)When go to BIOS menu, move to item “Load optimized defaults” ,button it , Dialog : Load optimized default(Y/N)? will pop up and choice “Y
(5)After finish step(4),button “F10” , Dialog :Save to CMOS and EXIT (Y/N)? will pop up and choice “Y
(6)After finish step(5),system will reboot and flash BIOS in DOS is finished

    And now everything is working!

Merci pour votre réponse. Entre temps j'ai réussi à solutionner mon problème.
J'ai trouvé le fichier du BIOS à cette adresse :
    ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/Archiv/desktop/aspire_m5610/bios/
J'y ai téléchargé le fichier "R01-A3 WinXP VISTA DOS.zip" puis une fois démarré sous DOS via la clé USB j'ai suivi cette procédure :

    Et maintenant tout refonctionne !

Can someone upload this bios archive? I need it very badly. I did same thing, update bios to lastest but it's only for dualcore. 🤦‍♂️

What versions of the BIOS do you find on the Acer support site? I can't even find the M5610 model when I look, likely because they were for a different locale.

Try contacting Acer support for your area, they may have access to the BIOS files. If not then you will likely have to send it to them for it to be downgraded...
