PredatorSense not starting and Turbo button not working
Hi all,
I suppose I should be thankful that this problem is less major than what I previously had when I first bought the laptop.
As mentioned in another post, I had to send the laptop for repair immediately after buying it due to constant bluescreens. Apparently it must have been a manufacturing fault. Acer found some issues and replaced several parts in it apparently. The laptop (Predator PH317-53) now works perfectly or almost:
Since it returned from repairs, PredatorSense no longer runs and I can't open it (the logo does not even appear) as if it's been disabled. Of course, I can't use the Turbo button either, meaning the overclocking and temperature controls can now no longer be used which I liked.
Is there a reason for this do you think? And any way to get it running?
I tried downloading predator sense from the driver section with the correct model however then it comes up with this message when I try to run the setup: "Sorry! This computer is not supported" (What?? I searched for the right model and it even gives it in its folders as a supported model).
All in all, really odd. I am however happy to have my laptop now working. I just would like to have the turbo function back so I can stop it from overheating when I#m doing heavy gaming in the future.
