    Hi,

Install HWINFO64, expand Bus, expand PCI Bus, highlight PCI Express Root Port and look for Maximum Link width, if it's 2x, you can use a NVMe SSD, I don't think you need a BIOS update.

Hello, help, please! I have an acer e15 e5-576G-51ff according to this branch, and according to the HWiNFO64 readings, I see that my computer should be running NVMe SSD. I inserted a 970 EVO Plus NVMe M. 2 SSD 250GB, but the disk doesn't work! And Windows in "disk Management" does not display it, so that you can create an SSD volume, format it and start working. At the same time, "device Manager", HWiNFO64 and other test programs see it! What should I do to make the disk work properly?

The Bios sees the SSD disk, but does not allow you to make it bootable. In the "Boot" menu, you can select only the native HDD. The strangest thing is that Windows itself is installed on an SSD that is inserted via an adapter in place of a CD-Rom! But it is not in the "Boot" menu either. And if I take out the HDD and turn on the laptop, it writes to me: "No disk", and does not want to boot from SSD to CD ROM! I have updated the Bios to the latest version 1.49.
