Hi I own a Acer Nitro AN515-53 527H.
It comes with 12gb Kingston RAM DDR4 2666 in two modules 8gb and 4gb
I am trying to upgrade to 32gb Kingston HyperX RAM DDR4 2666 in two modules 16gb and 16gb
After I install it, the laptop turns on but I see no ACER logo and doesn't boot.
ALSO, I notice that if I install 1 module of the 8gb OR 1 module of the 4gb it also turns on but doesn't boot.
IT ONLY BOOTS when I install the Original Ram in the original order that it came with.

Is there some kind of "Reset" that I don't know about that doesn't allow my laptop to boot without it's stock default ram?
Please advise.  Thanks.

Nevermind!  I resolved the issue.  I guess I had to wait about 30 seconds after the first reboot after installing the RAM.  Afterwards, it booted, and now operates normally.

What you just witnessed is called "memory training"

When you change something about your memory configuration, the motherboard needs totest/ adjust settings on first boot up which takes a few seconds.

    Enjoy your new RAM! :)
