I recently re downloaded LoL. About 6 months ago while playing, I would have a constant 110-120 fps when I played the game. Now I am getting >35. I fully reset my computer and LoL is the only thing I have installed. My comp is plugged in and at 100% bp. My drivers are all updated. I also have all video settings in LoL set to very low. I really want to get back into the game, but 35 fps is unplayable to me, and I don't understand why it is happening. Any help is greatly appreciated!

my specs are:

Acer Swift 3

intel core i7 -8550U @ 1.8-GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 logical processors

NVIDIA MX150

8GB DDR4

256GB ssd

Have you tried updating the NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers? I know they've been doing updates pretty regularly...

    It may be power throttling
You can quickly enable, disable, or restrict the Power Throttling feature in Windows using the battery slider that appears when you click on the battery icon in your taskbar.

To disable Power Throttling, simply move the slider to the right to enable the Best Performance power plan. This will disable Power Throttling but it will increase the power consumption significantly as power saving functions are disabled as well in that mode.

You can decide which apps should be throttled. You can choose to stop Windows 10 from managing the CPU resources for a these apps. To do this, open Settings > System and select Battery option.

Next, choose Battery Usage by App from the left panel and locate the app you want to exclude from Power Throttling, and uncheck the option “Let Windows decide when this app can run in the background”. Once you disable the option, a new checkbox will appear, “Allow the app to run background tasks“. Check this option to allow the app to run in the background.
