I want to ask about my predator 15 laptop, how can I control the fans, because my fans are stuck or at max speed around 4600-4900rpm and I think that this laptop needs more. I searched on the internet but I could find it. The only thing that I found is the fan controller is disabled for customers, so I cant set rpm of a fan on my laptop. Why is feature like this disabled on NON-CHEAP pretending to be gaming LAPTOP. And last question, how can I fix my backlight of my keyboard. If I set one color on every zone on my keyboard through predator sense I get 2 different colors. The first zone from the left presents the color well, but the second from the left presents the color differently for exp. when I set every zone to blue, the second from left and absolute rignt is green. I really don't know how to fix it. If the problem with the fans is not gonna be fixed. I will never buy anything from Acer. I've paid for this laptop a big price, expecting to be a good gaming laptop. The fps on games are really gut, but when the laptop starts to overheat, the fps is dropping. Please fix this.

Max fan speed according to the specifications chart shown below is 3700rpm. Download and install the latest predator sense app from this link to see if it resolves the color issue https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Application/Predator Sense/Predator Sense_Acer_1.00.3012_W10x64_A.zip?acerid=637172442133587855&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=PREDATOR&Step3=PREDATOR G9-593&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

Hi! Thanks for the response! I already have the latest predator sense app, I was looking for an update since I've noticed these problems. I download it in the same day it releases. But it doesn't fixed any problems. For the fans, my fans normally run around 4400rpm sometimes it drops below 4000, so how the fans can possibly run at that rpm when the specifications chart says that max is 3700rpm. I can even boost it what adds about 400rpm more than the default.

And for the predator sense, this is how the apps look like. I think there should be a laptop in the middle  :/ And why is it not showing the system fan speed? And the colors of the keyboard look like this. I don't know if its a physical problem or just a software thing, but in those 2 zones the green backlight led is still on in every color

FanSpeed should be barely audible at 42*C. Have you tried to change ControlPanel's power plan to balanced mode? Jack E/NJ

Costs nothing to try it to see how it goes. Jack E/NJ

Is there any option to download the old version of the Predator sense with the overclocking and such? That app was really good.

That's because you have a laptop not a desktop. The fan is part of the thermal module that cools the cpu. What is predator sense version number you have on there now? Jack E/NJ

I downloaded the latest version of the app from the Acer website what is 1.00.3012. And for the system column why is that even there when I am on a laptop, why there is not a CPU and GPU fans speed like it was before. It would make more sense.

If SystemProtection was turned on in ControlPanel's restore point app, you should be able to recover the old version of PredatorSense. Jack E/NJ
