Hello!
I'm currently using acer swift 3 sf314-51 (Specs: i3-7100U, 8gb RAM HD620 14" FHD)  with Linux Mint 19.03 (no dualboot, no windows). On idle - the CPU temp. meter shows 50°C and on semi-heavy-load (Minecraft, pycharm) it raises up to 60-70°C. From what i can see - the temperatures remains at this range on both battery and while charging.
Is this normal that the CPU's temperature is at 50°C on idle? Sometimes it can be very noticeable if i use it on my laps.
Unfortunately - i can't check the temperatures on windows to tell if there is any difference between Mint and Windows.
Also, the laptop is about 3-4 years old, and for that time i haven't refreshed the thermal paste or cleaned the fans. Could that be reason of the problem?

    Well this temperature is normal

Btw,Your laptop is 3-4Yrs old, dust take place in your laptop you need to clean fans and air vent.

You can use compressed air (pc dust cleaner) to blow out dust but be careful use Pay more attention while doing this

Thank you for your quick response. Is there any manual or video that will help me to clean the fans and air vent? i struggling to find it on youtube and google, as there's usually more modern models.
