Acer UHD4k2k B286HK monitor won't display using the Displayport cable

I just installed a GeForce RTX 2060 Super Ventus GP edition graphics card. I tried using the Acer B286HK monitor with an HDMI cable, and it displayed, but the refresh rate was low so the mouse was moving slowly. Now, I have a BenQ GL2460 plugged in via HDMI, and I am trying to have a second display with the Acer monitor using the Displayport cable.

When I plug it in using that cable, it seems to register on my computer, as the BenQ monitor switches from the primary to the secondary monitor. But the Acer monitor just displays a black screen. I've tried plugging it into the different DP ports in my graphics card as well.

I'm going to assume you are running Windows 10... When you press Windows-P can you change the option to "Extend"? Does that light it up?

Unfortunately no. When I have both monitors plugged in, it seems to detect the monitor and automatically extends the view to both. I actually have to change the settings to "Duplicate" or "Second Screen Only" to see anything because only my Benq monitor is displaying properly.

So when I plug the Acer monitor in, without changing those settings, it detects it and automatically extends the view. But the monitor is still displaying black.

Okay, I managed to click in the dark and drag my display settings to the working monitor, and switch that to my main monitor. It seems to detect some sort of input enough to allow me to extend my display, but it says it can't actually detect the monitor for some reason...

Can you get the on screen display menu to make sure the Acer is set to the DP port?

I'm not able to get the menu onscreen. Occasionally it'll flash which input it is, and I think it has flashed Display Port before but still not displayed anything. Do you know which button would change the input on the monitor?

If you disconnect the DP cable, can you then get the OSD menu up?
