I am no longer able to connect wirelessly to my Belkin N router. My laptop is Acer Aspire 5532 with Atheros AR5B93 WiFi adapter. I can connect via Ethernet. I keep getting the error message "Windows cannot connect to .....(SSID)". I am also having a similar issue with my HP mini laptop. Both of these were able to connect wirelessly with the same router before. What could be the problem?

Thanks for your reply. I have rebooted the router (several times) and also restored to factory defaults and set up a new SSID and deleted the old one from the laptop ("Managing wireless networks"), and tried to make a new conection. On the advice of Belkin support, I even changed the type of security. Still doesn't work. On the other hand I was able to connect my two android phones to the network, but only after adding their MAC addresses to the router. The two laptops' MAC addressses have also been added but still cannot connect.

Finally got it to work! Unplugged the cable modem and router. Checked the ethernet connections. Restarted the modem, then the router, put in the Belkin setup disc in the Acer laptop, and basically setup my wireless network all over again, with a new SSID. This time, it worked OK. Connected my HP Mini laptop wirelessly using the passphrase, as also the android phones. Everything works! Phew!
