I want to update my Intel graphics driver but Acer website does not have it Aspire E5-576G

When I used the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant, it said that there was an update for my graphics card ()Intel® UHD Graphics 620). After trying to download and install it, a window popped up saying that it failed and I had to look at the manufacturer's website for the update. However, looking at the latest driver updates on the website, the latest one for my machine was the exact same one that is already installed on my machine. Recently, I had been experiencing a strange bug where my laptop's screen would go black and won't wake back up whatsoever unless I force shutdown and restart the computer. Some advisors from the Microsoft community said that it may be because of the display drivers or the graphics drivers. Now, I am still experiencing this annoying bug and I still can't update my graphics driver because the Acer website still hasn't released one. The current version on my laptop and on the Acer website is 24.20.100.6286 from 2019/03/18 while the latest Intel version is x.x.x.7463 released on November 14, 2019. Apparently, the 24.20.100.6286 version was originally released on 8/15/2018 by Intel, showing a 7 month gap between Intel and Acer release for the same driver version. I feel like there should at least be an updated graphics driver by now and it is very frustrating to me. My laptop is an Acer Aspire E5-576G.

    Hello,
To install the newest driver, you have first to create a restore point and uninstall the current drivers (display and audio) from Device manager up to get basic or standard Microsoft drivers. Follow the Intel procedures #2 and #3: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005598/graphics-drivers.html

No, it hasn't. I don't think the graphics driver was the problem. For me, I just changed some of the settings for time before turning the display and sleep so it wouldn't happen in the first place. Occasionally, I forget and have to do a hard shutdown of the laptop to get it back running. I don't know if this will ever be fixed. Even sometimes I put my laptop to sleep before bed and it just turns itself on and won't ever go back to sleep on its own even after a few hours. Maybe there is a hardware bug somewhere but I am just putting up to it for now.

    Hello,
You should try to uninstall the Intel graphics driver with DDU in safe mode and re-install the latest Intel driver.

I have Model: a515-54G-70AG with Intel legacy UHD Graphics Driver version: 26.20.100.6911 DirectX 12, WDDM 2.6, by: Khronos Group Inc. v 2.2.10, Vulkan-1
Do you think I can download the newer DCH driver from Intel: To prepare for the release of Windows 10 2004, Intel has released Intel Graphics - Windows 10 DCH Drivers  27.20.100.8187, which is WDDM 2.7 compliant and adds support for DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.5. W10 2004 require DCH drivers with WDDM 2.7?
